母母昔からお花好きで、実家の床の間には、いつも活け花が飾られていました。My mother has always loved flowers, and her tokonoma (alcove) was always decorated with freshly arranged flowers.

今日は、年に一度のピアノ調律の日。

父が、あたしが幼稚園の時に買ってくれた、85鍵の珍しい団地サイズ。

このピアノも60歳、還暦だね〜。

「定期的にちゃんと調律すれば、まだまだ、弾けますよ」

父の買うてくれたピアノ、断捨離出来ません🤣

Today is the day of the annual piano tuning.

My father bought this piano for me and my sister when I was in kindergarten.

This piano is now 60 years old.

The piano tuner said, “If you have it tuned properly on a regular basis, you can still play it.”

I can't get rid of the piano my father bought for me.

やばい

記憶力がやばい。

先週は、歯医者の予約をすっかり忘れた。

そして、本屋さんに行って一度購入した本をまた買ってしまった。

それも、四冊も。

２３日に６５歳になり、高齢者の仲間入りしたのですが、脳味噌も完璧高齢者🤣

本は、読み始めて、あれ、これ、知ってると思うけど、結局、最後まで、ほうほうと読めてしまう。

一度目、丁寧に読んでない証拠だな。

読んだ本、お友達に回して、手元にないってのもあるけど。

妹は、読んだ本と観た映画は、メモしているらしい。

ここの更新滞りがちだから、これからはここに読んだ本とその感想を書いておく事にしよう。

あたしは、デパートの本屋さんで、何となく本に呼ばれて、ジャケ買いして、その作家さんにはまって、買い漁ってしまう。

少し前は、「迷犬マジック」のワンコの表紙に飛びついて、その後、山本甲士さんにどハマり。

ほのぼのと温かい穏やかなストーリー。

凪良ゆうさんは、「流浪の月」で、この人、書きっぷりが、好きと、手に取って、しばらくして、それすっかり忘れてまた、買ってしまった。

「流浪の月」、本は面白かったけど、映画は、暗かったみたいですね。

長月さんの３冊は、働く若い女性が主人公、「あたしも、昔は〜」と思い出しながら読みました。

「明日の私の見つけ方」と「ただいま、お酒は出せません」は、職場が飲食で、共感するところたくさんありました。

特に、「ただいまお酒」は、コロナ禍でもがき苦しむレストランで働く従業員の姿が書かれてて、なかなかに面白かったです。

これくらい書いてたら、二度買いはないかな〜🤣

Oh no!

My memory is terrible.

Last week, I completely forgot my dentist appointment.

Then I went to the bookstore and bought books I had already bought once.

Four of them.

I turned 65 on the 23rd and joined the ranks of the elderly, but my brain is also a perfect elderly 🤣.

When I start reading a book, I think I know this or that, but in the end, I can read it all the way through.

I guess it's proof that I didn't read the book carefully the first time.

It's also because the books I read were given to my friends and I don't have them with me.

My sister writes down the books she read and the movies she watched.

Since I tend to be slow in updating this site, I'll write down the books I read and my impressions of them here from now on.

How to Find Me Tomorrow

I can't serve alcohol right now.

I go to  the bookstore in a department store, and somehow a book calls to me, and I buy one of a nice jacket, and I'm hooked on that author, and I buy and buy and buy.

Not long ago, I jumped on the cover of "Lost Dog Magic" with its doggie jacket , and then I was hooked on Koshi Yamamoto.

Heartwarming, warm and peaceful stories.

I liked Yu Nagira's writing style in and picked it up, and a while later, I forgot all about it and bought it again.

The book "Wandering Moon" was interesting, but the movie seems to have been dark.

Nagatsuki's three books are about young working women, and I read them while thinking "I used to be like that, too.

I read them because I work in the restaurant industry, so I felt a lot of sympathy.

In particular, the last one was quite interesting because it describes a restaurant employee struggling under the Corona disaster.

If I wrote this well, would I buy it twice?

また長く更新サボってしまった。

ダンナが、「朝の散歩で、奥さん、最近、ブログアップしてはりませんね〜って言われたぞ〜」と言うてた。

楽しみにしてくださってる方がいらっしゃるんですね、すみません、ありがとうございます。

毎年、私節ジャカランダ大使として、咲き具合をレポートしてた、ジャカランダも終わってしまいました。

今年は、満開の足並みが揃わず、ショボかった。

今は百日紅がどんどん咲いてます。

なつは6月24日、10歳になりました。

暑い日は、もう、歩きません❗️とストライキする事もありますが、今日は、風が気持ち良くて、グングン歩きました。

グリーンヒルズの上はひまわり咲き始めてました。

なつ、元気で嬉しいです。

ぼちぼちの更新、すみません。

昼間、靱公園で薔薇を愛でましたが、夕方の八幡屋公園でも、薔薇満開。

薔薇、ベランダで育てようかな。

I loved roses at Utsubo Park in the daytime, 

and roses were in full bloom at Yahataya Park in the evening.

I think I will grow roses on my balcony.
