One of my best friends Yasuko invited me to the knitting class.

Four members gathered at her shop and taught and learned knitting each other.

It was a very interesting time for us.

Knitting is good for senior people like us, using our fingers and brains.

Good times.

I made two motifs,and I was completely tired and exhausted .

I have a black simple bag, and attached the knitting motifs on it.

Simple bag became a special and the only one.

My English teacher Brian read my latest blog and checked it out.

He’s very kind, polite and careful.

Here are my original version and his revised version. 

I made mistakes with spelling, capital letters and lower case letters, and used articles incorrectly.

I have to brush up my English.

A bad point about my English is the way of writing. 

I use the sentence, like,

I do something and I have something and I did something.

Starting the sentence from I again and again might not wrong grammatically, but it is not sophisticated, or matured.

I see.

I will try to write more natural and well considered sentence.

I'm not sure if I'm conveying the meaning correctly, so, I am going to write my thoughts in Japanese,too.

Brian ,if you had a time, would you please check my sentence ?

あたしの英会話の先生のブライアンが、ブログの英語記事について添削推敲してくれた。

めっちゃ親切で丁寧な添削、ありがとう。

私のオリジナルの文章とブライアンの直してくれた文章。

スペル間違えたり、大文字小文字間違えたり、冠詞の使い方も間違えてる。

もっと注意深く見直さないとな。

あたしの、書きっぷりで、まずいのは、何度も、あたしがどうした、こうした、と、あたしで始まる文章が繰り返されること。

文法的には間違えてないけど、洗練されてないし、なんか子供っぽい。

なるほどな、もっと、自然で、洗練された文章書かないとな。

この複雑な文章、あたしの拙い英語でわかってもらえてるかどうか不安なので、日本語訳も書き添えておきます。

I gave up my job last year,

The reason was that 

I have gotten too old to work at my liquor shop completely with my some hobbies.

My hobbies are 

Yoga

Tennis 

Calligraphy 

English conversion 

Piano and Vocal.

Each of them is just for fun and wasting time for me.  

I am a very bad tennis player, for a long time,

I can’t bend my back, or spread my legs wide, on the Yoga time.

As for the Piano, I have not improved my skills compared with the 10 years before.

Vocal lesson is almost the Karaoke time.

But I am satisfied with those.

And two years ago,my sister in law had a problem with her backache and she couldn’t work at the standing bar, so I entrusted my desk work for the accounting job to her, and I became a staff for a part time job with less salary.

It is a very good decision for me.

I don’t have any responsibilities about our business.

Very relux and relieved.

Now, I work for our company, preparing food  helping, cleaning for the standing bar .

I am very happy that I am helpful and useful and not stressful.

This is what I want to do.

Today, many customers came to our standing bar, and we were quite busy.

But we were very happy that the customers enjoyed their time at our place.

It is a time for us around 65 after a retirement to think about our life.

The last report of the cherry blossoms in this season .

I enjoyed the full bloom of cherry blossoms in Yahataya park and nearby in Minato ward.

We could enjoy the many kinds of cherry blossoms.

Loving the flowers,drinking beer,eating pizza 🍕 

with my friends.

What a beautiful time.

Takashi and I had an English conversation lesson by Brian on Thursday evening.

We started to chat about Will Smith’s slapping the presenter on the show of Academy awards.

The presenter said a joke about Will’s wife’s bold head.

At the beginning,Will was laughing at that, but after he notified the sad face of his wife, he slapped the presenter’s face and shouted quite rude and impolite words to him.

We talked about the accident together.

We totally agreed that Will did a completely wrong about his action.

In my opinion, I wouldn’t like to be protected by my husband with such a silly and disgusting attitude.

I will protect myself without my husband’s foolish behavior.

And I understood that there’s a big difference between our country and the United State.

The way to tell or inform a joke is quite hard for us Japanese and translate it correctly to the people who live in other countries.

Anyway,the cherry blossoms are beautiful in Japan to any people who live in Japan.
